My wife and I are coming to AC for our 2nd Honeymoon in late March. This will be the 1st of hopefully many trips to AC. I'm looking for suggestions for a place or activity that is romantic. I know one activity that is romantic, but we can do that here at home. Anyway, recommendations are greatly appreciated. We are staying at Victoria House, hope to make some new friends and drink a few Belikins while we are there.

I'm sure that several of the more "sensitive" board members will be able to recall romantic episodes in San Pedro. Most will probably have something to do with dining, or sharing adult beverages in the moonlight. Certainly not a bad start. From our standpoint the whole place is just a comfortable, more or less dreamy experience. In fact we have never thought about it as "romamntic", quite possibly because it just is, of itself.

It has been noticed that you are a fellow resident of Hoosierland (What the HELL has happened to PU"s ball team!), and that you will be in SP at the same time we will. We have a fair amount of experience with the place, going back about ten years. If you have some specific questions and want to share an e-mail addy we'd be happy to share thoughts.

Go to Ian Andersons Cave Branch //AmbergrisCaye.com/pages/town/cavesbranch.html

tell em you want the honeymoon treatment.

they carry in all kinds of goodies into a cave, light lites, cook for you, river going by in the cave, incredible.

nothing in this world like it.

ChooChoo & Marty, thanks for the advice! My wife and I would really enjoy getting together with some island regulars who know their way around.

oooooh, Jane....

Any clue who offers that directly?

We were married on Turkey Day, so we use that every year as our reason for not spending the holiday with the handsome hubby's (rather evil-spirited)family.

That sail with dinner at Capricorn's sounds perfect! (Of course, that means we'll have to jam the BC's Cajun turkey down our throats for lunch...but we have a truly AMAZING capacity for food & drink on vacation!)

TIA!

K.

I know you can sunset cruise on the ElGato. Beautiful sail on the catamaran!! They are docked at a pier right in town by the cemetary - Geraldo Badillo is the captain.
They offer a nice day sail to Caye Caulker also.

Try out the end of the TMM Bareboat Vacation Pier. Ramone's Village peir is really beautiful, but gets a fair amount of night traffic. Watch out for those power spotlight/flashlights that all the nightwatchmen seem to have though. (Opps, yer busted!)
