Ok, this is a dumb question. My husband heard somewhere that you should NOT eat the fish. I saw on message board the other day that fish was rated as the best meat to order. Is there a certain kind of fish to avoid? Or is my husband confusing Belize with another place? Last trip we avoided fish, but everyone else seemed to be enjoying it. I would appreciate any info you have. Thanks

The only possible reason someone would advise against eating the fish while in San Pedro would be to make more available for themselves. In that vein, if you're there at any time we are...."don't eat the fish". Thank you.

Never had a problem with any meals. Some of the best fish & seafood I've had has been on AC. Even the street vendors cook up some of the tastiest meals at the best prices right on Front Street.... YUMMY.
