U.S. tax attorney in Belize

Belize now has a U.S. tax attorney and tax return preparer. Stewart Patton, who was formerly a partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP (a worldwide law firm with over 1,500 attorneys), moved to Belize City six months ago with his wife (who is from Belize City) and their two kids. His practice focuses on helping (i) U.S. citizens with the U.S. tax aspects of living or investing abroad and (ii) non-U.S. financial institutions and others in dealing with FATCA.
