No rain on the Radar last night or today. . .Clear skies, will be a hot day. .. . Puffy clouds will build up later.
Notice that large high, in parts, very high cloud over the Pacific . . . .That is the main area where ITCZ weather builds up.. . . . .The high level air then streams out to the NE and SE, which is where much of that cloud that you usually see streaming over Mexico comes from . . ..As the year develops, that will move more northwards, until in May / June, it will reach over Belize, triggering off the Rainy season.
If you consider Mid-Summer as being when the Sun is at its nearest and hottest, then Belize has Two Mid-Summers. . .. Mid May and mid August.. .. Between May and Aug, the Sun goes north of Belize. . .. .Generally brining that ITCZ and its Rain up over Belize during that period. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ITCZ
