Some significant rain patches around earlier this morning, near the Belize north border, and the Belize south border, but none in central Belize.
As the sun moves further north, those bright red ITCZ areas will move northwards, brining rain to Belize probably in the last week of May.
I have an expression, "April showers, May it pours. " . . Meaning we get the odd light shower at almost random in April, but in May we get the odd short heavy rain, before the rainy season starts.
But in Belize, sometimes we have not had a proper rainy season and other years no proper dry season. . . .
But last year we had both with a vengeance, longer and worse dry than normal and more persistent wet than normal.
( Those two high cloud swell ups near Belize & Guatemala died down later. )
