From Belmopan... 10:00 BZT
No Rain on the Radar for over 400km. ...So in under 24 hours, we have had a lot of action .. .A fair amount of rain in Belize, a lot in Guatamala and Mexico, but none in Belmopan.. . .. . .Looks like the weather back to normal today and probably for the next few days.... Except the wind still dominated by the SW winds from Guatemala, but the surface wind, is a light Caribbean wind.. .. .Although the rain over Guatamala has now cleared that dust and ash out of the air for the time being.
Although I recorded 69°F as the night time low, compared to 79°F the previous night .. .. .We certainly had a front go over us, but despite the map, it did not look or act like a cold front, but bucked against that very warm air that came up from the Pacific over Guatamala, where it picked up all that heat and dust, causing our very high temperature of Monday.. . .. .And Rains of yesterday, which cleared and cooled things down. . . I put the cooling down to the rains and not any cold front.
But all that is clearing, so I expect fairly clear skies, some cloud and a fairly warm day today, but without the ash that feels like high humidity. ..The actual humidity is around 50% which is low for Belize, and, if it stays that way, a very comfortable humidity.

We were on the hummingbird just outside BMP at 630 last night. Very windy but only a few spots of rain! later that evening the strong wind blew a huge tree down, blocking Springfield Rd completely so we had to abandon our truck and walk home. up at dawn this am to clear the road with chainsaw. road is now open.
