It's beginning to look like I will not be able to use Tanisha Tours for this trip -- totally bummed. Still want to do the trip. Who else would my fellow boarders recommend?

Tropic Air Lamanai tour, miss the crowds, spend more time within the ruins, home early

Besides the boat ride to the mainland and the hour bus ride to orange walk is the seadued tour any different than the Tropic air tour? Would like to save some time by just flying to the tour.

Same Tour just different means of getting to and from the Toll Bridge where the Jungle River Boats leave from.

au Contraire, same from the bridge, true but getting to the bridge is the first half of the adventure. If you boat from the island, like most of the San Pedro Tour Operators, cutting through the mangroves and up the river to Bomba is prime birdwatcher time. The Northern River Lagoon is rich habitat.

Having been a number of times I am very much with Elbert on this one! Probably my favourite tour from San Pedro.

I meant the Tour is the same from the bridge onwards not that the first part wasn't worthwhile - as that's what was asked. Also they stopped going through Bomba a long time ago. Via Ladyville now I believe
