Does anyone know if the guy that trucks things down to Belize from Houston is still in business? I had an email address for him but no one ever replied. If someone has updated contact info, I'd appreciate it.

Mike, I can't remember the story entirely and maybe this isn't the same individual but a friend used this service several times and it was inexpensive and worked fine. On his last shipment the service went south and he lost money and maybe his shipment.

Again I can not remember the particulars and hate to repeat hearsay but I think it is the same person you speak of so use caution.

I've got the contact information, but I'm in agreement with ragman. It's the same service, but someone new/different running it, and I wasn't nearly as happy with the service or the cost when I used it last month. But I believe my next door neighbor continues to use the service and hasn't had issues. (Not 100% sure about that, but I think that's the case.)

There are quite a few folks that provide shipping & freight transportation from Houston.

I used to use Dennis Bellini who ran out of Huey Lopez's warehouse in Houston. Dennis quit doing this and now a father son pair are delivery to me; Norberto Perera Sr. & Jr. [email protected] I know this is a good address as I just got an e-mail from them. It looks like Tropic Air Cargo can't find my shipment. (Many's the slip betwixt the cup and the lip)
Here's the information on the Houston Warehouse. You might want to call and inquire about who is coming next. Each transporter seems to make a trip a month.
