Hi All

I understand that most things are closed on Christmas day and Boxing day, so I'm assuming that bus and touring travel would be reduced to non-exist as well during these times?

We're trying to figure out if we can plan it so that we stay over Christmas and Boxing day at one place, if we'll be able to do tours during that time, or if the attractions will also be closed?

Any knowledge of things we'd find open operating on Christmas and Boxing day? Buses, ruins, tours, etc.

Check with the particular sites/locations for details. Customs may vary from place to place.

In San Pedro you can go on a tour on Christmas and/or Boxing day and can have a fine dining experience as well. Smaller shops and restaurants will probably be closed.

In previous years, buses ran on a less frequent schedule -- departures every hour or two rather than the normal schedule.

The water taxis and domestic airlines operate. Any schedule changes are sometimes posted on their websites.
