Well, after a year of reading these boards and dreaming, I have finally convinced the hubby to head on down to AC. We will be there from 4/16 - 4/22 and will be bringing our 10 yr old daughter with us. Is there anyone that will be there during that time that will have the kids in tow? Also, does anyone know if there is a snorkeling trip to Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley that is better for kids than others? Thanks for the info.

nance..email dawn at barefoot watersports. she once said she has a bunch of her own kids who love to befriend tourist kids & show them around. i hope to do that next time. they also have something called a water trampoline. any 10 yr old would want to check it out. they probably have a link from the home page here. Thank you all for the replies.
A water trampoline!?! - heck, I'll probably want to do that more than the wee one! I know she will make lots of friends with the local children so that should not be a problem.
I also know it will be no problem for us to get together with others who will be there the same time period. I'm just too excited!!

I was there for 10 days in mid-April a couple of years ago. The weather was sublime, the seas were calm. I hope you have as good a luck as I did.

Now having said that, I've been there the past two years over the Xmas holidays. The weather was not all that! [Linked Image]

A fish and a bird can fall in love, but where will they build their nest?

We'll be there 4/14 - 4/24 but no kiddies along. Our nest is finally empty!!! Hoping for calm winds, calm seas, conch fritters and plenty of Belikins. Come meet a bunch of us boarders at BCs beach barbecue on 4/21. Sounds like a great time! Kiddies are most welcome!
