General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Relatively moist and unstable conditions dominate our weather.
Advisories: *Small craft caution for the coast of Belize*
24-hour forecast: Cloudy skies. A few showers, isolated thunderstorms and periods of rain will occur mostly over the south and along some coastal areas this morning, then over inland areas this afternoon.
Winds: East - southeast 10-20 knots with occasional higher gusts.
Marine Forecast:
Today: Winds: E/SE 10-20 kts.; seas: Choppy- moderate; waves: 3-5 ft.; a few showers and isolated thunderstorms(morning mainly).
Tomorrow: Winds: E/SE 10-20 kts.; seas: Choppy - moderate.; waves: 3-5 ft.; a few showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Marine Outlook: Friday night:- Winds: E/SE 15-25 kts.; seas: Moderate - rough.; waves: 4-6 ft.; some showers and isolated thunderstorms (mostly south).

Marty OP	From Belmopan... 07:45 BZT There were a few isolated showers in parts of central Belize earlier this morning, but none showing now. Looks like we are in good weather for a few days. . .. .With much of the air coming down from the cooler states. But that can clash with the Caribbean wind, when that picks up later, so could result in some rain later. The Hurricane Cristina, has picked up strength and is Cat.4 now shows a clear eye. .. But is is small and tight.

Marty OP	From Belmopan... 10:45 BZT Christina has strengthened and is moving to the north west. Note the circular upper air water vapour pattern. The hurricane should begin to weaken soon as it heads to cooler water. In Belize, drier air has moved in from the north so this morning the sky is mostly clear with some low cloud. The tropical waves travelling over from Africa are weakening and staying far to the south so the chance of rain here is remaining low for the next few days.
