Belize NMS: Moderate but slightly moist easterly airflow continues over our area.
Advisories: None.
24-hour forecast: Partly cloudy with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms mostly inland today then mainly over the south tonight. Partly cloudy tonight and sunny with a few cloudy spells tomorrow. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur mostly over the south tonight and inland tomorrow. Elsewhere, showers will be isolated.
Winds: East 10-20 knots.

OP Marty	From Belmopan... 08:45 BZT There has been significant Rain in much of Toledo this morning, some in central Belize and a little near Corozal.. . . ..There is a line of rain coming in from the Caribbean, that is likely to effect central Belize later today, or may largely fade out as temperatures rise.. . . . Today probably mainly Sun, but with significant cloud, particularly this afternoon, with the occasional showers anywhere, but more likely down south and parts of central Belize.

OP Marty	From Belmopan... 14:00 BZT A tropical wave is approaching which could start affecting Belize tonight. The problem is that the wind shear from the north and west across Belize is quite strong and has dry air, and this could prevent the system from acquiring any significant development. The current position is at 16.84N and 84.75W will check on this system later today. From Belmopan... 18:15 BZT Storm Cells are attempting to form but they are collapsing very quickly due to the strong wind shear.
