Looking to purchase (or accept donation of) and unwanted black or brown cashmere overcoat. Need the fabric to make a very special teddy bear.
If i were up in Chicago one trip to the Goodwill would do the trick, but alas these items are in frightfully short supply in the tropics. Would happily settle for an old black or tan cashmere blanket as well - as long as I can salvage enough good fabric for a bear, I'm good to go. I need about a yard of unblemished fabric. If I get enough fabric for two bears, will make one for the donor as a thank you. Incidentally, I make rockin bears.

I will check around the local Goodwill stores here in Northern Illinois and see what I can find. I will be in San Pedro at the end of July.
