I do not want to step on any ones toes, and I really want to work with seaweed here on San Pedro, as well as propagating other native sea life here along the reef. I did some studies in Marine Biology when I was a kid in Calif. Looking at tide pools and the fish and seaweed habitat. This is going back over 30 years ago and I have never forgot my love for the sea, I do not know exactly how to utilize the natural renewable resources here along the Reef and protect them and propagate them, yet I want to.......I love the Sea/Reef/Fish/and everything that the ocean has to offer us humans and I want it to continue producing for future generation! I know this is a tall order, but I love the Reef and want to see it flourish. I would like to meet like minded people on the Island of San Pedro/Ambergris Caye, or anywhere in the world that have the same passion. PM me or write here so we can hook up. I have many questions and would love some help with my vision. This is a labor o love and do not know where it will take me but I am on the journey.............Thanks, Reefenit........

Yes, already in contact with them, slow process to develop mostly due to lack of funding and education. Most people come to Belize to exploit it's beauty on honeymoon or vacation, and want to eat the products Belize has to offer with no regard or conscience to how sensitive this resource is. I'm slowly working on protecting the Reef. I know there are others out there doing the same, and I know we all need to eat, play and have fun, but with 7 billion plus human beings eating and playing I believe we should be careful with this resource along the reef. Step by step, moment to moment......
