Well, my traveling companion just opted for a swanky resort and priced me out of my budget. So I'm looking for alternative lodging in San Pedro from August 1-7. I am a MINIMALIST. I really only need a bed, shower, wi fi and walking distance to town. AC is a plus, but not required. Does anyone there rent rooms in their homes? I looked on AirBNB and couldn't find anything.

You can always try Pedro's. It's basic accommodations and priced accordingly. Just don't ring the bell in the bar.

located about center of town on the beach, clean room's with free wireless internet, mini fridge, tv, and tempurpedic bed.
