General Situation:
Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Brief improvement in weather conditions today and then another tropical wave will affect the country tomorrow.
Advisories: *Small Craft Caution for gusty winds and locally rough seas.*
24-hour forecast: Sunny with cloudy spells today and mostly cloudy skies tonight and sunny skies with cloudy spells tomorrow. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will occur mostly over southern and central areas of the country tonight ...decreasing tomorrow.
Winds: East 10-20 knots with occasional higher gusts.
Marine Forecast:
Today: Winds: East 10-20 kt with occnl higher gusts.; seas: Moderate-rough; waves:4-7 ft.; isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Tomorrow: Winds: East 10-20 kt.; seas:Moderate; waves: 4-6 ft.; an increase in showers and thunderstorms.

Tropical Weather Outlook: The center of Hurricane Arthur was located near latitude 36.0N and longitude 75.3W or about 85 miles SE of Norfolk, Virginia. Arthur was moving toward the NE at 23mph with Maximum sustained winds of 100mph. Elsewhere, tropical cyclone formation is not expected during the next 48 hours. Marty OP	From Belmopan... 10:00 BZT Did we have rain last night . ..I recorded 53.5mm ( > 2" ) over night, from that. Right now, there is no rain showing on the Radar in any part of Belize or likely to come our way. The last of the rain went over into Guatamala mountains and has been fading away. ITCZ activity, which is what caused our rain yesterday, needs ground or sea warmth and very moist air. that Tropical wave brought in the moist air. That ITCZ activity really built up over southern Belize yesterday, several times and particularly last night. Notice how that other much larger ITCZ on the Guatemalan coast, last night has collapsed and replaced by another one further west. Looks like no more rain for Belize, at least for a short time. . . .No rain showing for 400 km so might hold off for a couple of days. ! The high thin cloud is thinning now, puffy Caribbean clouds will start to move in later.
