Mayor Daniel Guerrero and the San Pedro Town Council would like to invite everyone for a public meeting to be held today, July 22, at the San Pedro Lion's Den, starting at 7:00 p.m. The Mayor and Councilors will be presenting the financial statements of the Town Council for the period 2012-2013 and 2013-2014.

SPTC presents financials to public

As promised, the Mayor of San Pedro Town Daniel Guerrero presented his financial report to a handful of residents on Tuesday, July 22nd. The report was presented during a public meeting that took place at the San Pedro Lions Club. In attendance were members and staff of the San Pedro Town Council (SPTC), political aspirants from the opposition People's United Party and other interested residents.

The 2013/2014 total income was $5,653,510.47, an increase from $5,310,800.68 from the previous fiscal year. Expenses for the same period amounted to a total of $5,395,966.36 leaving a surplus of $257,544.11. In the previous year, the SPTC saw a deficit of $205,999.23. The biggest expense of the SPTC is personal emoluments which includes salaries, wages, overtime, allowances, social security contribution and summer employment program amounting to amounting to $2,226,849.56.
