On Saturday, the first in a year-long series of Belize Jazz Fusion Culture Concerts was held at the Biltmore Best Western Hotel, where a host of performers and musicians entertained an audience of young and old with renditions of contemporary music. Advertised as the Belize Jazz ‘N Culture Show, the two-hour program featured guitarists, keyboardists and drummers, to name a few. The aim, according to organizers, is to raise the bar of Belizean musical performance through frequent presentations of well-rehearsed productions. Here are the highlights of the weekend concert.
Proceeds from the sale of tickets will be used to purchase equipment and defray operational expenses.
