I was thinking that one of the days that we rent a golf cart we'll try to find the ruins (I've read somewhere that there are more than one on AC)---

Can anyone provide directions, suggestions, etc. to help on our adventure????

The "ruins" on San Pedro are really not worth the effort to go see. It is good to get a cart, and see the island, just don't expect to see any abandoned temples. We do have lots of people who have been ruined here, and God knows that I am one...

Gone fishing!!

Bill, I got the reference. Unfortunately, most everyone else might be too young for it........

You can check out our site at:
Click on "Basil Jones"
Then click on "Maya site"
This site is the Barcellon site which is far north on the island up by the old dirt run way.One of our land owners went there his last trip and mapped the area and took some photos. He did write an interesting story to go along with his search.Really all that is there is several piles of stones. Not much to look at.The big Mayan sites will be on the mainland.
