The Ministry of Education, Youth & Sports in San Pedro held its annual School Children's Rally at the R. Angel Nuñez Auditorium on Friday, 12th of September. The program included a beautiful rendition of the national anthem by the San Pedro High School's band which followed a well recited National Prayer by students of the San Pedro R.C. Church. Miss Trisha Stokes then graced everyone with her rendition of My Homeland by the Sea followed by an inspirational speech by Miss San Pedro 2014, Michelle Estrella Nunez. As part of the ceremony, selected students and teachers were presented with a certificate of Most Patriotic Student/Teacher in Education by Miss San Pedro 2014. After the official ceremony concluded, the event continued with presentations from the San Pedro Pre-School, San Pedro High School Band and Marching Band, Holy Cross Anglican School and the San Pedro Dance Academy.
