I will be staying at Coral Bay Villas from April 6-13. This will be my first trip, but from information everyone has posted, it's a good choice.

Just came back from my first visit to AC and we stayed at Coral Bay Villas - you're not going to believe this, but the villas are EVEN BETTER than they look on the website. They were absolutely PERFECT! The staff is really great, the villas are clean and in a great location and the beach is wonderful. I just got my pictures developed and laughed when I saw that I had taken 20 pictures of the beach/ocean from my patio!! [Linked Image]
Great choice. You'll love them! Go into town to a produce stand get yourself some coconuts and make a pina colada in a coconut and sit on your patio and soak it all in!!

CCR --
I'm even more encouraged now, hearing from someone who just made their first trip to AC. I believe Edwin told me that they had dredged in front of the condos so they had a good beach where you could enter the water. Did you cook much in your condo? Is good produce readily available?

Hi Beachgirl - we did not cook much (unless drinks count) b/c the Belizian food was so yummy,we wanted to try everything. But there is everything you'll need in the villa to cook and there's a super market not too far and fresh produce stands in town. The beach is clean, they rake it every morning and the pier is right there. There are also chairs and pretty hammocks right there on the beach too. You'll love it! We left 6 Belikins in the fridge in unit #4, maybe they'll be there waiting for you! Hehehe!

Hey CCR--We're the owners of #4 at Coral Bay. Glad to hear you enjoyed it so much. Always like to hear when our guests are treated the way we would want to be treated. I agree with the view. Can't ever get enough of it myself. Hope you get to make it back again sometime. I had to laugh about the cooking. We've made about 15 trips to AC now and we have yet to cook our own meal. There are just too many great places to eat and never enough time to get to them all. Thanks again for the kind words. Ed & Tammi

Ed and Tammi - the pleasure is all mine. We will be back for sure. We just loved the whole atmosphere and didn't have enough time to do everything we wanted to do. So we HAVE to come back. [Linked Image]
Great job on the Villa! Oh, excpet maybe you could hide the remote for the TV. My boyfriend spotted it right away. Darn!!! Hehehe! Just kidding.

Hi Cindy...back to the old salt grind, huh? Scott definitely wants to make another trip to paradise. How was your trip home?

Hi Ed and Tammy...haven't "talked" with you for awhile. Thanks for all the info you gave before we left. We had a fabulous time and will be making another trip in the future, for sure. We stayed right next to your condo...#3, I think? WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holly,

Glad you enjoyed #3. Were you able to find Coral Bay in the big aerial picture of Ambergris Caye that was hung in the livingroom?

Art & Ruth: I think so...it was hard to keep track where everything is in the picture without the barge parked north of Coral Bay. [Linked Image] It's a GREAT picture!
