From Belmopan... 08:15 BZT
The easterly low cool air flow is being augmented by a northerly air flow coming out off that wet air mass over the States, which is originating from a large wet ITCZ type activity in the Pacific.. . . . Some of that is breaking out over the Gulf and coming our way at higher altitude. . . .But it is now influencing our weather. . . .This morning a largish area of low easterly cloud has been made larger by that higher cloud and is moving over most of Belize at present.. . ... There is presently, a fairly typical early morning cool Westerly or "Tiger" wind moving over the Surface from Guatamala, which is adding to the cloud or even fog in some places.
I expect the present cloud to thin as the day warms up. . .The westerly surface wind will change to easterly and there may well be glimpses of sun later. . . .I am not expecting rain from these clouds, although there could be the very isolated sprinkle.
Belmopan, 10pm
Again there appears to be a break in the cloud, but more coming in from the NE and will provide cloud cover for much of the night and probably into the morning.. . . .There is also some higher, patchy cloud from the NW.. . .Expect temperatures down to the 68°F early in the dark morning hours.
