you'll like this: they offered us another cabana, but it was even older looking than ours. we settled by using both - we slept in ours & showered in the other. we shared it with the couple next door, they didn't have hot water either. we took turns with the key, and then ran back to our cabanas.

they were on their honeymoon.

i thought we shoulda been compensated more too, but i chalk it up to experience. it isn't the US.

oh man i would have been very upset i wouldnt have let them do that. i paid for a good room i would have insisted a good room! or my money back. that is amazing that it was so bad for u but we had no prob. with any of that stuff. i do understand that some times things do get broke or whatever but give me a break sharing another cabana to shower in thats crazy!!! carrie

You know I just can't remember you telling us about that before, however, I do remember that there was a reason or two that I would not have considered JE for a stay besides just it's distance from town.

I'm still chuckling. Those poor people on their honeymoon.

seashell, i am not sure if i said all this initially. i didn't want to come off as as an 'ugly american', or a whiner. no one wants to come back bad mouthing it. and i do love AC.

it was like a comedy, tho.

what they offered me was "a good deal" if we returned. a couple of nights comped, i think. but while i would love to hang there for a day, it is so pretty, i would not stay there again on your life.
