From Belmopan... 9am
Although still cloudy overcast and there was a little rain last night, the cloud is thinning. . .. .The low cloud, cool air, is still moving in from the North, but the higher level cloud, that was associated with the small area of ITCZ activity did not cross over Belize, but is moving northwards up the coast, presumably causing sea and possible some coastal rain.. . . That is reducing now.
I expect today for the present overcast to get brighter and there will be glimpses of the sun in certain parts of Belize, later today. . .There can still be the occasional rain shower, but not a lot.
From Belmopan, 10pm
The cool air has now been pushed back. . . .The Easterly Caribbean air is now the predominant low level air, with SW higher level winds.. . . .The SW winds are bringing in significant cloud, that could result in scattered rain periods tonight and Saturday. . .But not the heavy overcast weather we have had for the last 3 days.
