From Belmopan...
High level Westerly winds streaming over all of Mexico right now and starting to merge with the Pacific SW over Guatamala and Honduras (.Yellow arrows ). ... This is now changing and even stopped in some places, the Northerly cold front air.. . . .There is still some NNE air flow down the Belize coast, but this is being stopped by the Easterly Caribbean air over Nicaragua. . .. .The surface winds ( Blue ), over Cayo are still SW as usual early in the morning.
I am seeing a lot of fairly thick cloud over Belmopan, but there are the occasional blue sky holes in it . . . .I expect more sun to come through as the day warms up. . ..The northerly movement of clouds will slow down. . . . .But hard to say just which air will take control during much of the day as yet. .. We are in the middle of changes, so rain is possible, more so in the south of Belize, but not obvious yet.
