Hi everybody,

We are bringing our pets down with us for an extended stay, probably in Placencia. We have heartworm medication for our dogs, but our vet asked us if we might be able to find out if the cats need it too (this is not a problem for cats in Canada, where we are coming from). Anybody know?

Thanks for any info, Mary and Rick.

Due to the increase in mosquitos in Belize I would suggest heartworm prevention. Maybe Bron or someone who is volunteering for her can give you more insight. Revoution seems like a great product esp. since it prevents heartworms, intestinal worms(which they have a problem with hookworms)and earmites. Have fun.
