Early 6am the sun was showing through the layers of bright cloud, but by 7am the cloud had thickened. . . The surface "Tiger" wind, in blue, from Guatamala is fairly strong this morning at present... .But he predominant low level winds, white, are the easterly Caribbean air, with significant patches of cloud.
There are strong upper level SW winds, yellow, from the Pacific over the whole area, but not producing much cloud, except over the Gulf.
I am expecting the present cloud to thin, giving a fair amount of sunshine today, but some cloud most of the day.. . .I am not seeing any rain.. .Mind you, I wish the Met office Radar was working, still out of action now for over 2 months.
