From Belmopan...
An overcast morning, despite the Caribbean winds, with less cloud and rain coming in steadily from the East...But there is a line of heavy Pacific cloud streaming in from almost due west, but that is mainly effecting southern Belize, over night, but is now thinning, but spreading over all Belize now. . .. There is still, at 9am a slight Tiger wind off the Guatemalan Mountains from the SW. . . . .. . Getting even more complicated. . . .The actual Caribbean wind with isolated puffy clouds is coming in from the ENE shown in White arrows, but the night cloud and the cloud coming in over southern Belize, shown in Yellow, is coming of the mountains of Honduras and is effecting southern Belize, and clashing with the high level Pacific winds now shown in Orange, coming in from the WSW.
Northern Belize is getting brighter right now. . . . I expect central Belize to get brighter later this morning with some sun during the afternoon. . . .There was very little rain in Belmopan last night, but I suspect significant rain in the south over night and perhaps this morning.
