And remember that advice in bars is free but you get what you pay for...

The line to crash and burn is filled with people thinking they are going to do something they have never done before and know nothing about but some of them will make it. 5 or 6 failed scooter rental business means 5 or 6 pioneers failed to think it through.
A shoe repair shop on an island of barefoot people was laughable but now folks are wearing shoes and scooter rental to an island with out roads was doomed but now we have roads. I can't say anyone has a bad idea but their idea may have bad timing.
My thinking is attitude is the key to success but timing is a large factor.

Tropical Paradise is not on Ambergris Caye. It's on Caye Caulker. Cute place, wrong island if you want to check out AC.

But isn't there a shuttle service to tranceport to the other place? How about this place, but I really just need a place to sleep at night, I would be outside during the day. Maybe rent a bicycle.

Just seems kind of pricy for what I want to do.

There is a water taxi to Caye Caulker, not sure what the price is these days but probably $20BZ or so. It doesn't make sense to commute back and forth from one island to the next. Mata Rocks is on the cheaper side unless you go to one of the backpacker hotels.

google Pedro's Inn. Range of low to mid end pricing and is safe.
