Happy New Year To Everyone!

To start 2015 off right, we are offering our four most popular pies at the November MCC. The test cakes were received so well, so we are expanding with additional cakes and some surprise desserts.

Pies: Chocolate Cream, Banana Cream, Peanut Butter,Toasted Coconut Cream

Cakes: Fresh Banana Cake w/Caramel Cream Topping, German Chocolate Layer Cake w/ Coconut Pecan Topping

Additional Cakes and Desserts: They are a surprise.

Again, come chat with friends and learn more about CVL, its services, and resources. This is an informal, friendly gathering in a cafe style atmosphere with a “come and leave when you want” style of service. No meeting nor solicitation will be surprised upon you.

Place: Consejo Village Library, Lot #492, Consejo Village, Corozal (Red “brick style” building across from Casablanca, diagonally from the customs compound and pier)
Time: Sunday, January 18th, 8:30-12:00 p.m.

All proceeds to benefit CVL towards needed repairs and upgrades. Our November function grossed $223 BZD, which is so appreciated. We have purchased and painted a new mahogony front door and frame and are receiving assistance with installing it and repairing the deteriorated concrete opening from Mr. Luis Lara.

Our third computer has since passed to the Big Server in the sky, but we have another “oldie but goodie” expected this week. January's goal is to purchase a surge/modem protector for the new arrival and secure funds for a new front latch and repairs to the two steel security screen doors. The printer is one small clog away from being fully functional.

We have adjusted the hours to better accomodate those attending church services in Corozal. Feedback is appreciated as to whether the hours should be modified a bit more. Also, we are soliciting requests for specific sweets desired for our February MCC. Do you have a favorite one that you would like to enjoy? We can assist.
