Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: A cold front will cross the country today.
Advisories: *Small Craft Warning for gusty winds and rough seas goes into effect this morning!!!* -->
24-hour forecast: Cloudy, cool and windy with a few showers and periods of light rain mostly over the coast and south today. Cloudy at times tonight with a few showers or periods of rain over most areas, along with the chance of an isolated thunderstorm. Cloudy, windy and cool tomorrow with a few showers or periods of rain mostly along the coast and over the south.
Winds: Northwest 15-25 knots.

Today: Winds: NW 15-25 kts; seas: Rough; waves: 5-7 ft; some showers and light rain.

elbert	A strong Northerner is blowing on Ambergris Caye this morning. It's deceptively calm on the reef side of the island because it's in the lee but as you get outside the reef into the open sea where the dive sites are it's very rough. Marty OP	From Belmopan... There was a light "Tiger" wind from the SW this morning but the blanket cloud appears to be moving down from the north. . . .We most definitely had a small bit of rain overnight, though it would be hard to tell come morning light.. . . Oddly, with this cold front getting nearer, it was warmer over night than usual, but that due to the covering blanket cloud. . . . .The cold front as such has now passed over Belize, see the dotted yellow line. Hard to say how today will turn out, but starting dry despite the cloud. . . . I suspect this Northerly blanket cloud will thin later to give some sunshine occasionally, possibly some rain in the hills.

Marty OP	From Belmopan... Cloud continuing to stream down from the north. . . . There are periods of rain around, North Belmopan just had 4.4mm ( < 1/4" ) of rain, but getting brighter after that. . . . And I have seen some sun and some blue sky. . . . It will probably get brighter as the day goes on. 8:30pm The cold front cloud continues to pour down from the North. . . But it is thinning as it comes down, but rather patchy. . .We could have outbreaks of rain over night, but perhaps only occasional. . . . I expect Sunday to be mainly cloudy, possibly some rain, but mainly cloudy, with some outbreaks of brighter weather and possibly some sun.
