From Belmopan...
The Caribbean easterly winds have taken over the whole area, and probably for several days now. No visible high level Pacific wind, except the typical over northern Mexico and the southern US. But the Caribbean wind is occasionally, forming some large and high clouds. It was two of those that brought rain last night to central and southern Belize. Now there is another large cloud crossing south central Belize, which may well produce some, possibly significant rain in Dangriga and the Mountains.
I expect today to be rather like yesterday, strong easterly winds, a lot of sunshine, but also a fair amount of clouds, some very large, possibly with rain. Typical Sprng weather for Belize.
