At around 8PM on Wednesday, March 4th San Pedro Police responded to reports of a shooting incident in the San Pablo Area. Initial investigation revealed that Jamie Manzano was shot three times during a robbery attempt. Manzano was transported to the Dr. Otto Rodriguez San Pedro Polyclinc II where he received primary medical care before being air lifted to Belize City to receive medical attention at a private clinic. He sustained injuries to his right leg and both hands. He is listed in a critical, but stable condition.
Reports indicate that Manzano and his family arrived at his home where he encountered a male individual who opened fire. Manzano tried to discharge his licensed firearm but had already been injured. Police believe the criminal made his escape through the nearby airport runway.
Police searched the neighboring areas as well as the San Pedrito Area but to no avail. More information will be reported as it comes available.

On 04.03.15 at about 7:00p.m., police responded to a shooting incident in San Pablo area, San Pedro Town and visited the San Pedro Polyclinic where they saw 31-year-old Jaime Manzano of San Pablo area, San Pedro Town, Belize District, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right foot and both arms . Initial investigation revealed that at about 6:50p.m., Manzano along with his wife arrived at their home and upon entering they were confronted by a male person who came from inside their bedroom and fired several shots in their direction causing his injuries. The male person then ran through the front door. Mr Jaime Manzano was transported to the San Pedro Polyclinic, then to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, Belize City where he is listed in a stable condition. Police investigations continue.
