Whats the Skinny on Skinny these days? I hear he has a new band.

Surely some lucky San Pedronite has been out to see The Skinny Extaveganza lately. I'm interested to hear the reviews on his new band. I'm stuck in the great white north and Jonesing for some San Pedro entertainment banter. I hope to be there next winter, God willing and my bikini still fits.

Saw Skinny last week at Fido's, one night by himself another with his "All-Star" San Pedro Band Band 'Category 7'. They Rocked the house with cover songs from the 70's - 90's. There was a little write up in last week's San Pedro Sun, nice review. It may be online.

Saw Skinny at Fido's this past Friday. He was also at Shark's Bar during the time we were there.I told him that I heard of him for the first time on this board and went to check him out.

I was in San Pedro for 5 days starting on Feb. 22 and went to Fido's to catch Barefoot Skinnys' show twice and the band he plays with (Category 7) once. Skinny by himself is a great show and C-7 is also worth making the effort to see.
If you don't have fun at these shows, you should have stayed home and watched your old tapes of the Lawrence Welk show (No offense to Lawrence Welk fans).

We saw him Friday night at Fido's, really enjoyed him. Clare was also great.
