Never had a waitstaff issue at El Patio and always great pricing. To each his/her own smile

I'm with klcman on this. I eat a El Patio regularly, always with great service, friendly waitstaff, good food, good prices.

I guess I got an off night. There was only one other table, party of two when we were there with a party of 8.

It isn't always super busy, which is nice for me but perhaps not so nice for them.

I believe there is a place called Neries? It serves fry Jacks and watermelon juice. Is it still open?

What are the best places for take-out? My mother usually likes lunch out and eating in at night.

I have to say I am very surprised I have not seen a mention of Black Orchid? I know they may not be in your budget but the food is amazing and the owners as well. Perhaps an afternoon appetizer and drinks might be more in the budget and I would say the cream cheese Jalapeno's are one of the main things I still crave today! Oh how I wish I were there right now smile I would also agree with the other places mentioned we tried pretty much all of them and food was very good.

So miss this place.
