Well the Rain came, at least to parts or hopefully most of northern Belize, and looking at the Water Vapour satellite, even the south might have had some rain, without the Radar I can't be sure. I recorded 25.8mm ( 1" ) in Belmopan yesterday evening and over night. Very good news, because much of it has gone into the ground and not run off. I do not see the cold front as having caused this, the other way round, the Pacific ITCZ activity has been sweeping in over Mexico, which formed or helped cause the cold front, because it is too far south for this time of the year. No sign of any Caribbean winds.
Looks like today will be largely cloudy all day, with just a little sun and perhaps some more rain.
Temperatures in Belmopan:
Today is probably going to be Cooler than yesterday :
Wed, max 35°C 94°F Last night min 23°C 74°F ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
