Farm to Fork: The Journey of an Imported Shrimp
Excellent Consumer Reports video on shrimp problems and how to avoid them, presumably overseen by Gwendolyn Bounds? Reminded me of our Pace University Media, Communications & Visual Arts documentary on a great example of BEST practices, Linda Linda Cardelli Thornton's shrimp farms in Belize. Most of our shrimp is imported, and the majority of it is farmed. Farming can be done responsibly, but when it isn't, a variety of unhealthy, environmentally hazardous, and unappetizing problems can arise. Here is what you need to know before you buy.
