From Belmopan...
The hurricane called Hurricane ANDRES
It has intensified, even if NOAA can't be bothered to put any hurricane points on their picture.
It is moving away from Belize but is causing a new, very large ITCZ activity nearer to us.
Together they are spewing large amounts of high level cloud from the WNW over Belize, which could give us a soaking, but that is not guaranteed, it could just be covering and no rain. In addition to the Easterly Caribbean winds with more moisture, there are Southerly Mid level winds with significant patches of cloud.
I expect today to be mainly cloudy, perhaps the occasional glimpse of sun. But with three different layers of cloud over us there could be some serious outbreaks of rain, there was a small ITCZ flare up over PG this morning so they could have had rain.
