That ITCZ activity last night, did not bring rain to Belmopan, but possibly a bit further south. The Caribbean winds are still circulating near western Cuba and now they show a Low pressure centre there, which is what I saw yesterday, only they did not show it. This mornings surface wind is from the SSW. Tiger wind direction, but probably not actually Tiger wind, but associated with the Pacific SW winds over us at present. There is also some mid-level clouds coming up from Honduras.
I expect today to have a fair bit of cloud, more so in the south, but also some sunshine, probably no or only isolated rain.
Hurricane Blanca is only slightly influencing our weather.
It is still intensifying, close to but not quite Cat.5 as originally expected.
