That north circulating high level cloud I mentioned yesterday, has swelled up in a large ITCZ activity over the Caribbean sea has conflicted with other medium level air from the west and is being swept inland early this morning, causing a large area of heavy rain and thunder. This started near Belize city and now covers all Central, most of southern Belize and much of northern Belize. Although that High level cloud is moving from the South over the Sea, the ITCZ is spreading over Belize from the east, drawn in by the lower Caribbean winds. Another small ITCZ developed over PG doe to clashing east / west winds.
Looks like much of today, at least morning, will continue to be rain and thunder, probably clearing a bit this afternoon.
