Planning a trip to AC July 2016. We are looking at 3 resorts: Phoenix, Bahamas Beach, Banyan Bay.

Which is best for the $. Any other suggestions? Will be 2-3 adult couples.

We were planning to go May but want to wait for lobster season.

If three couples rent a house on the beach. Cheaper and more flexible.

Of the 3, I say Phoenix, location, setting, 5 star type resort. As for the money, it's most likely the most expensive too.

Many don't have pools so for this reason we r looking at condo, resort style accommodations.

It's about 1.5 miles north of town across the bridge a bit

Banyan Bay has wonderful accommodations. It isn't in the middle of town so there is less noise. (Though I do love The Phoenix) Ricos, the restaurant is excellent. It is a very short walk to several grocery stores, The Baker, Produce stand just across the street, and beautiful beach and staff. (Phoenix has great restaurant, beach and staff, as well)

For the money I would choose Banyan Bay.

And, I am not sure where the other place is, unless it is Banana Beach. If that is the place, it is just a bit more south of Banyan Bay, so still walking distance to the stores, restaurants, etc. There is a very good restaurant there. Doesn't have quite the same feel as Banyan Bay and Ricos.

Take captainoneiron"s advice... Look for Villa rentals... More bang for the buck.

A little known fact... Women who are overweight tend to live longer than men who mention it...

Why not look at Xanadu while your at it?

A fish and a bird can fall in love, but where will they build their nest?
