There has been an increase in the high level cloud down from north Mexico, which has been spawning a huge ITCZ along the Gulf coast of Mexico and many smaller ITCZ activity, mainly over southern Mexico and Guatamala. This is only having the occasional effect on Belize, but likely to increase over the next day or so. The ESE Caribbean winds typically bring small puffy clouds with them, sometimes these form more significant lines of cloud, not quite sure why, but probably due some upper air involvement. One such more significant line than usual, is sweeping in at present, bringing some rain to north Stan Creek, Belmopan and central Cayo. You can see that line of rain on the picture.
