From Belmopan...

That ITCZ activity I mentioned last night, now has a large active area over southern Belize, which is moving northwards, bringing a lot of rain with it. There was an early morning flare-up over PG, followed by a second flare-up a little further north, causing some heavy rain down south. That rain is not covering the whole souther half of Belize and is now effecting Cayo and Belmopan. The Caribbean easterly winds are light, butt hey might even bring more rain in from over the sea.

I expect heavier rain in central Belize later this morning and probably rain over most of Belize for much of the day.

Temperatures in Belmopan:
Today is probably going to be Cooler, than yesterday : Wed, max 33°C 91°F Last night min 25°C 77°F ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )

From Belmopan...

We have to start looking more carefully to the east for hurricane type development.

There is significant weather developing right now, off the African coast, that does have the potential for development, although I thing this time is unlikely. Hurricane Dolores in the Pacific, has now strengthened into Cat.4 although it looks as if it has now started to decrease in strength. I also think there is the possibility of another one starting in the Pacific, just SW of Belize.
