We are looking forward to our retirement within the next couple of years. Any advice for us newbies? Area to live in near the water, places for rent before we buy, and any other do's and dont's. Thanks.

There are lots of threads on this subject on this board. If you pick a specific question or subject, you can do a search and find an abundance of information.
First bit of advice, come to Belize to do your "real" due diligence. Conditions change and you'll get current info by being here.

A good place to start might be by learning how to spell the place you're planning on retiring.

Bing, why are you such a creep? There was no need for that remark at all.

I'm a creep because I'm stating the obvious?????? I'm also betting you are one of the first that wants to build up the Trump border fence to keep out all those undesirables and make sure everyone speaks English. Please don't preach to me.

I just knew that, somehow, this would go far out.

Happy to see that you stayed "above it"

A little known fact... Women who are overweight tend to live longer than men who mention it...
