Howdy Folks.
My plan for moving to belize is to drive my truck and make an epic road trip out of it.
I'm curious if there are any pitfalls involved with bringing a truck into belize (tariff, fees, etc.)
Second, I'd like to bring my ATV. It is a 500 Polaris Sportsman. I know the vehicles of choice are golf carts or scooters. Are Quads allowed?

Thank you in advance. grin

Yes, there are duties and fees.
How much depends on the model, year, engine size. Check with a customs broker for specifics.

As for bringing a vehicle to Ambergris Caye, you would need a specific permit to bring either one of them to the island. You will need your residency status in place prior to applying for such a permit. There are a few quads on the island. Unlikely you would ever get a permit for the truck.
