Ambergris Caye: Conditions this morning by Elbert just before or after this post!
Belize NMS: Mainly fair and warm conditions will continue to dominate our weather for the next couple of days.
Advisories: None.
24-hour forecast: Sunny with a few cloudy spells. Tonight skies will be isolated. Shower activity if any will be isolated.
Winds: East 10-20 knots.
Marine Forecast:
Today: Winds: East 10-20 kts; seas: Moderate; waves: 4-6 ft; little or no rainfall this afternoon.
Tomorrow: Winds: East 10-20 kts; seas: Choppy - moderate; waves: 3-5 ft; little or no rainfall.
Marine Outlook: (Sunday night) Winds: East 5-15 kts; seas: Choppy; waves: 2-4 ft; chance of an isolated thunderstorm in the south.
Sea Surface Temp (°F): 84
General Outlook: For Sunday thru to Monday morning is for continuing mainly fair, warm and mostly dry weather to prevail.

Tropical Weather Outlook: At 3:00am Hurricane Danny was centered near 15.2N latitude, 50.8W longitude or about 740 miles East of the Leeward Islands. Danny was moving WNW at 10mph with maximum sustained winds of 100mph.

Hurricane Danny is dying fast, according to the wind speed charts it is a mid Cat.1 and should drop to TS within 12 hours, but on the chart, they still show it as a Cat.2 . . . . I think they love to be dramatic. . . Danny Vaults to Category 3 Status; By Dr. Jeff Masters, 1:16 PM EDT on August 21, 2015 Meanwhile the high level Pacific winds over Belize are from the south and very little cloud. . . . The Caribbean easterly has a few cloud streamers, so there could be isolated rain in some parts. I expect today to be sunny with increasing clouds this morning then clearing this afternoon, very slight chance of odd shower in the north. Temperatures in Belmopan: Today is probably going to be Similar, to yesterday : Fri, max 34°C 94°F Last night min 24°C 75°F ( Coast usually cooler, hills even cooler )
