From Belmopan...
The high level is now coming up from the SW and curving over Belize. Triggered a couple of swell-ups causing significant rain in most of Toledo, and a few other isolated rain showers, but that is dying away. There could well be more outbreaks of rain in any part of Belize today. Tropical Storm Erika got well organised yesterday, but broke apart over night, but it is tracking much further south than they have been predicting, it was expected to go north of Puerto Rica, but it is actual way south of there, it therefore could pose a threat to us. The prediction people haven't a clue what its winds speed will do, some say it could become a major hurricane in 4 days time, others say it will have petered completely out in 4 days time, yesterday it was shown as going east of Florida, now it is shown as going west of Florida.
Today looks like a lot of cloud, that is mainly high level cloud, the Caribbean winds do have some rain cloud in them, there will be more sun later, but could also be some showers.
