Good fishing news from Belize in Central America: Wil Lala, owner of The Caribbean Villas Hotel on the island of Ambergris Caye, is shown holding his 35-pound cubera snapper he caught using a small yellowtail snapper. Lala reports that several species of snapper, grouper, some kingfish and Spanish mackerel are being caught; the tarpon are really moving in and fishing the flats for bonefish is great. Wil and wife Susan are frequent visitors to Marco and have many friends here.
