From Belmopan...
As I said yesterday, there is an increase in Pacific cloud from the NW over Mexico. The ITCZ activity is still occurring along the Pacific coast of Guatamala, and with some swell-ups inland, one has occurred over southern Belize during the night, that must be producing significant rain, but the Rain Radar is suck on Saturday again. There is significant cloud in most parts of Belize, although less up north. The approaching cold front, as yet, is not having any effect on our weather, but it is causing more flare-ups in Mexico, which might bring more rain this afternoon or evening.
I expect rain in southern Belize to persist for several more hours, mainly cloud cover, some sun, more so up north, but increasing cloud and possibly rain later today, or tonight.
