1 cup fresh spinach (washed)
1/3 cup orange juice
1/3 cup coconut or almond milk
1 cup frozen fruit (such as peaches, strawberries, and mango)
1 frozen banana
¼ cup Greek yogurt (plain)
1 tablespoon chia seeds ( you may pre-soak them for 15 minutes)Method
1. Mix spinach and orange juice in a blender on high speed until smooth and frothy.
2. Add coconut milk and fruit to blender and mix at high speed again until smooth.
3. Next add chia seeds and Greek yogurt and blend until chia seeds are ground... If they had been pre soaked this will not take more than a few swirls!
4. Add sliced banana and blend for just a little while for it to help smoothie to thicken a bit!
